Total 30 member countries and latest is North Macedonia who joined in 2020.
HQ - Brussels, Belgium.
It was in news for its East expansion which is prohibited by a treaty between NATO and Russia. This is why NATO can't help Ukraine( Ukraine lies in Eastern Europe) .
