When it comes to 4WDs, everyone has an opinion. But if there’s one vehicle that’s the most wanted, most hyped, most modified, and most dreamt-about in Australia - it’s the 79 Series LandCruiser… and Graham’s just bought one! 😱

This is a second-hand 2022 GXL LandCruiser with 35,000 km on the clock. It’s completely stock, just as it left the showroom… and yes, it’s Sandy Taupe.

Now, as a die-hard Nissan guy, Graham’s first impression of the 79? It’s the single worst value-for-money 4WD on the market. 💰 But many of you strongly disagree.

So, he’s putting it to the test. This will be Graham’s new vehicle for what’s shaping up to be the biggest year in OffGrid yet! 🔥

I have had mine for eight years, and yes, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it has lasted, and I don't baby it. I scored my dual-cab secondhand for $62, 000 eight years ago. I have never regretted it. It's not a hardcore 4x4 competition truck, but it's made to get you from A to B without hassle.

“I’m not going to do too much to this vehicle…” followed by $7, 000 on seats, $10, 000 on a 12v system, $20, 000 on a tray and canopy combo, $5, 000 on a clutch and tune. $5, 000 on lift and tyres. The only thing you didn’t change was the badge on the front. Maybe if you did rims/tyres/lockers and took it round the country..? 😂

You could tour anything if you only had to do a gvm upgrade, brakes, tyres, suspension, engine tune, custom alloy canopy, barwork, lights, mirrors, lithium setup, fridges, snorkel, roof rack, custom seats and floor mats.

I just don’t get it. Does anyone in Australia actually have a real job that contributes or just YT money? That truck is literally 2x what my house cost and I have a 30 year mortgage. How can anyone justify spending that much to go camping? Just baffling.

What I love the most about this episode is…… I’m from Brisbane and got a chance to meet graham and get a photo but during my meet I thought I’d show my 80 series to him and then asked if made for men aswell. Loved the moment and thought well what should I thought him being a Nissan man but our honeymoon photo fixed the quick burn. Couple weeks later this video emerges from the cloud and we’ll check mate 😂😂😂🎉🎉
