They're expensive because Traxxas knows how stupid we all are & we'll pay their ridiculously high prices.! 😉 😉 😂
If features made them pricey then why aren't FMS/Hobby Plus/FTX etc, etc the same price.?

My favorite upgrade is my Radiolink Rc6gs v3. I can select front and rear diffs separately from eachother so i can do only rear locked. Extra buttons for lights too

I love my crawlers but a secondary servo for shifting and some hardware shouldn't give grounds for making it expensive as hell lol

The TRX4 platforms are awesome. We have the Sunset Bronco. Blazer, and high lift addition k10s. These rigs are awesome.

yeah those things don’t make a car expensive. They’re relatively cheap to manufacture but due to how niche the hobby is, sales don’t tend to account for mass production

They don't need to be that expensive. They've been out for years now and the prices haven't dropped. In some cases, they actually increase. I have 2 crawlers, both of the are very capable and combined, cost about the same as a TRX4 Sport!

lol my crawler was $60 don’t have any of those fancy controls only the steering wheel and the throttle but it works really well.

I got an FMS FCX18 mini crawler for Christmas. It’s one of the only crawlers of its size with portal axles and a 2-speed transmission. It does have a tendency to roll over though, so I’m planning to get brass wheels

I just love my nitro buggy. Nothing like hitting ramps at 50mph+, donuts, drifts, and sounds cool. Getting a bigger more expensive one soon and I'mma really put some money on it

Purchased a Everest 10 a couple years ago and it now cooks a Trx4 on almost every terrain, except turning, even with 4 wheel steer.
