Airpods do NOT provide better quality audio or ANC. That's just crazy to say. They are pretty and have more comfortable padding- that's it.

It's impossible to say which sound is better, it's a matter of taste, I prefer xm5 sound to Airpod Max, because it has a much stronger bass and the sound is more voluminous

but aripod max sound is flatter and softer than xm5

Headhones are old tech you can get similar sounding headphones from $30 headphones as you get with $500 headphones, the difference is extremely nuance its not eorth spending hundreds more.

I have max’s and am enjoying them…
You don’t get lossless audio…
Though audio and experience is still great, I’m comfortable wearing them for long periods, but I have a nice stack of hair to fluff the “weight” even though I think the weight is ok.

Def expensive, but still enjoying it. I wear them for 4 -6 hours.

I have owned apple products since the start. I had airpods 1 and then airpods pro. Both started giving me trouble after a year or 2 max. So i went for sony xm5 as it has a better life time. And trust me its one of my best purchases by far. Its so lightweight and comfortable. The ambient noising is better on apple products the noise cancellation is far better on the headphones. Ambient noise doesnt make sense because you are buying headphones to listen to music and not the background sound. Even if i wanna have a quick chat i just calmly place my hand on the side of the headphone which has a sensor and it puts me on transparency mode for the time being. Its amazing go for it anyday

I know he has limited time, but he didn't even mention the charging ports and how you still have to use the lightning cable, doesn't mention the container you put them in after you're done using them with how you need to turn off the headphones through using the case itself, and so much more negatives with the Apple headphones. I can see why people would use them but still you get so little for how much you pay other than sound and noise cancellation.

Nah man sony definitely has better sound, but yet, airpod max better build, better comfort, noise cancellation better. But it just annoying that battery on the airpod max is so shit, like sometimes i walk out the house without expecting 10% battery, however sony manage to get 3 hours of listening being 10%, but the airpod max only 1 hour 15 or 20 mins. Which is a bit shitty (experience from a person who used to own 2 of these)

I think both are great. I chose the XM5 1000 because I am an android man. I would have chosen the Airpods Max if I used apple devices.

Bruh I was about to block this dude for obviously lying. Apple only "advanced" codec is aac meanwhile Sony has aptx HD, LDAC, and AAC. APPLE doesn't even try to deliver any quality products to customers. Also Sony has actually won awards for best noise cancellation on the market.
