I’ve tried both. Personally, I love my XM5’s but hate wearing the in public like downtown, gym, fast food, etc. The AirPods Max are much slimmer but have horrible battery life. The XM5’s have lasted me a whole month with moderate use one time. So going off that if you like how you look in headphones, than AirPods Max, if not save your self 150 bucks and get the XM5’s.

The one thing is that the airpods max dont have power buttons so it drains battery by being in standby mode and the onyl way to stop that is having the carrying "case". I used to daily them for a bit and hated having to deal with that. And having an android I'd absoutely say that immediatly should remove them as an option since it's apple and you have no customization

I own both. The AirPods Max I use for work 5 days a week for 8 hours everyday. The XM5 literally destroys the AirPods Max in every category. I use them outside of work, in the gym and travel. Hands down the AirPods Max can’t compete.
