5 Things You Should Know about the NATO Response Force (NRF)

What is the NATO Response Force? The NRF is NATO’s designated force in readiness, on standby 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to whatever crisis might face the Alliance. Allies contribute forces to the NRF, which can respond on land, in the air or at sea.

In 2014, following Russia’s illegal annexation of Crimea, NATO bolstered the NRF with a spearhead unit, formally known as the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force, or VJTF. The leadership of the VJTF rotates annually between Allies.

I watched the press conference. It’s obvious why this video was posted. I would suggest a better job at explaining why NATO can’t move in and save Ukraine. I understand the main message you want to deliver to Putin is don’t attack a NATO country. The regular person without geopolitical awareness is wondering why the most powerful military alliance isn’t intervening and saving Ukraine. That’s the question you need to answer in a informative and relatable way.

NATO should close an air of Ukraine with their missile shield, as there is possibility that Putin would use nuclear weapon as he is not successful with normal weapons. That is a thing Ukraine needs now 🇺🇦!
