ill personally be getting the new macbook pro because im well overdue for an upgrade. im not only a digital artist, but a student studying computer science. i rely a lot on my laptop, and a 2012 macbook pro isnt cutting it anymore at all and is causing me a lot of frustration. id rather get the newest one and not have to upgrade for a very long time

Hey someone local is selling a brand new M1 Pro 16 with 32 ram and 512 ssd for 2200 CAD and Base M2 Pro 16 for 2600 CAD which is more worth it terms of updates and having enough life? I would rather save but don’t it to become obsolete

I have never used a Mac in my life but considering buying it. My plan is to run Windows in it. Do you think the operations would be smooth if I run Windows in Mac?

A lot of people buy them for gaming which is not worth it. If you want to game on a portable device get gaming laptop, and if you’re getting it for editing just get a slightly older Mac book pro the M 1 chip is perfectly fine to edit videos with.
