Making a Skirt : The Fluffy Feathered Dress, Part One

The skirt was made from several yards of ruffled jersey, with an overlay of mesh with a laser cut chiffon flowers stitched on.

Amazing work as usual, you are so talented! When you hand stitch, do you normally do single thread or double? And how do you keep it from tangling, it looks like you do really long pieces seamlessly.

I've always avoided hand sewing because of tangles and my stitches aren't very strong, watching you makes me want to learn to hand stitch better!
