I mad a full circle skirt! Though it didnt turn out my waist size (3/5 too big) so i just adjusted it in the front and now its more fluffy!

Maybe this was asked already.. but, for the full circle skirt, on the pattern you made, your directions on it says to cut 2, but you only cut 1 on fold?

Why would you need to get the 1/4 of the waistline and then multiply it again by 4 before dividing it? Why not directly divide the actual waistline measurement by 6.28 to get the radius? Sorry, I’m just a little confused. Thank you in advance for any help or answers.
