How to Iron Clothes Properly?

Watching this for my soon to be husband, before I met him I was fascinated with how well his clothes were ironed. I asked him one day and he said he does it himself. Now in a year I will be his wife and I must not let him down.

He sure makes that look easy! Never mentioned the use of starch? Should that be used on the entire shirt or just specific parts of the shirt? Never thought of buttoning the top before ironing the rest of the shirt, definitely will have to give that a go!!

You need to be mindful of your iron cord... it can wrinkle the shirt after you've just pressed. If the cord drags on the parts not yet ironed, you're not making extra work for yourself. Do appreciate your advice on keeping the weight off the tip.

Save time. After washing the clothes in the washing machine. Take the wet clothes out of the washing machine one by one fold the clothes and put them in the dryer. Set your alarm clock on your phone for 40 min. to remind you to take out the clothes quickly when finish drying and the clothes come out wrinkle free. You don't want to leave the clothes in the dryer too long when finish it will get wrinkle so when finish take out and hang away. My sister-in law taught me that save alot of time. The harder you press the iron down on the board the longer the clothes retain the ironing. If you don't press it hard that means you are superficially ironing and after two days the creases will appear again.
