I've watched five videos in a row on how to apply an iron-on patch. Everyone else suggests a pressing cloth or a T-shirt. You are the only one to suggest a piece of parchment paper. This is genius! I'm about to iron on a ton of patches to a varsity jacket for my daughter. I was stressing over what to use as a "pressing cloth". The parchment paper worked fabulous and I appreciate the suggestion!

wikiHow, I love your short but important/vital to the point video over other video that in essence say the same thing but it's long and drag out. Thanks from a new subscriber and fan.

I've never considered using parchment paper for anything other than cooking. It's a good idea

Your instructions were inaccurate, my patch doesn't work anymore because I peeled the back part as you said, then later finding out it will serve as a glue to stick to the garment.

I’m trying to put patches on my book bag. It’s a VANS book bag, but it looks kind of boring.

I peeled the back off of the patch and now it will not stick anymore. The clear back is supposed to help it stick.

No way this holds up in a washing machine

Awful video, could have told us about alternatives if we don't have the stupid thin white paper.
