The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra - Scotland Again

The melody to Scotland Again, one of John Mason’s earliest compositions for the fiddle orchestra, received its first major performance in Ayr during the massed Fiddler’s Rally which was part of the Mod in 1973.

Some years later the lyricist Harry Barry added words to the melody creating the song “Scotland Again”.
