This selection of jigs, arranged by John M Mason begins and ends with the internationally popular
“Irish Washerwoman” and includes an Irish jig by the composer/fiddler Denise Glass.
Denise Glass of Scarriff on the River Shannon, County Clare, carries on the Irish fiddle heritage passed
down to her and her siblings by her father, Dan Larkin, a pillar of the Irish fiddle tradition.
