It is not about the CPU. Surface Pro is over-priced. But the problem is that this device is unique. There is no device like this. Ipad, minisforum v3, or any other 2in1 devices, do not offer this versatility.

I'm not sure I understand the point of an ARM based Windows 11 laptop when you can't run the Windows software you normally can on a x86/x64 PC like games. I know these aren't gaming laptops, but their emulated gaming performances is very poor, so what justifies the $1000+ price? If all you're doing web stuff and media consumption; you can use a cheap Chromebook for less. Plus I would think a different operating system would be a lot more efficient on an ARM device than Windows with all it's bloatyness and spywareness.

I mean, snark aside, the natural comparison for the Surface Pros to me is the M-series iPad. When I got mine that was the alternative I was considering. The MacBook Air and the rest of the Windows ARM laptops are a completely different kind of device in my book.

I have the yoga slim 7x and it runs the davinci arm version quite well I'm abale to edit without a stutter. a/b video 2min 264 codec 1 full track length bug, subtitles and srt. a couple of lower thirds 2 audio tracks and about 6 cross dissolves some lite auto grading. basically the type of content I do. And its a x elite 78-100

The only thing holding back snapdragon is software optimized for Snapdragon. in almost everything it beats almost intel, amd and mac m3.
