WEAR WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY. I personally didn't love a single outfit in this video, we're all different dress yourself in what makes you feel good.

As a european there is such a difference between US and European 'How to wear....' channels. The US chanels tend to look a fashion items, while the European tend to look at a stylish capsule wardrobe. I'll be sticking to the ruthless European channels which basically is along the lines of 'Would you have bought this item 5 years ago and will you still be wearing this item in 5 years, if the answer is No, then why are you buying it now?' Combined with advice on quality of fabric/cut/finishes.

The sleeping on your back trick has slowed down my aging (that and sunscreen). I'm 41 and people often think I'm in my late 20s.

A note about jeggings. I had never purchased them until recently. A friend passed down a couple of pair to me that were two sizes larger than I normally wear. What I noticed is that they fit like actually jeans! I have stretch yes, but the legs don't cling. I love them. Try this trick when you want a skinny jean look.

As you are explaining why an outfit is not stylish, I'm pausing the video to reflect on my own wardrobe. I'm thinking, "Am I making these outfit mistakes?"
And I'm really liking your suggestions on how to make my outfits look better. Great video!😊👍🏼

I'll have to say, the way you go about explaining in style clothing is so friendly compared to other Youtubers. You seem more realistic to the average woman. I turn off the rich gals. Even if you have money, you're not a snob. Love it!

Some of us can't wear tops tucked in- we're not all that slim. I'm keeping mine out!

If you have a belly, French tucks look sloppy and just emphasize that what you want to hide.

Thank your for your videos. There is always a gem of wisdom in them. In this video it appears to me that, in general, patterned fabrics tend toward the frumpy look. Most basic solid colors will always look more classy.

I think you've hit on something in the part at the end! I had my son 10 years ago (next month! WOW!) and I've apparently been trying to duplicate my old style this whole time. Not with the same clothes, but the cuts, colors, etc. My chest and hips are bigger, my waist and ribcage are smaller - it's like I'm a more exaggerated hourglass, and every piece of clothing out right now is baggy and making it worse. This was really helpful, I think you can even probably dive deeper into this for more content!

I agree about pants, I’ve been talking all of my friends out of their capri’s for 10 years now 😂😂. But I really have to disagree about the classic crew neck tee. I don’t think they look very flattering on a large bust and I tend to think they only look good the small boobed gals. I think classically, even a slight v neck looks better on busty women. The crew neck tee is really a “trend” for the last few years that big boob gals are going look back in pictures at and wonder what they were thinking. Personally, they make me look much larger than I am, and I’m quite slim.

This is good advice. Thank you for explaining why you think these things are frumpy or dated. The print size makes sense to me.

Just saw this video for the first time. Although it’s from 8mo ago it’s still very relevant and helpful! I really appreciate the examples of both good and bad styles. Nothing’s worse than hearing you’ve got it all wrong and not knowing how to change it.

I love the pink skirt! May be it's not extra modern right now, but it's cute and it suites you!..

Not only do I have a bit of a tummy, I am short waisted. (My back neck to waist length is 15".) Just to make it more challenging, I am large busted - DD cup. On the rare occasions I tuck in a shirt, I "blouse" it a lot. Untucked shirts really do flatter me.

Honestly you looked great in all the outfits. I think these rules are silly. Styles are popular at different times. They don’t look bad, someone just decided a certain look is “out” for a few seasons. So follow the leaders if you want to be trendy. If you want to look confident and be comfortable, wear what you like and in the proper size. That is my 2 cents.
