Thanks for this, Erin. I would add... Stretching! I 'm 68 and have done yoga since my 40s. I taught for 12 years. I no longer go to class or teach, but I stretch for 20 to 30 minutes every morning. It makes a huge difference in how my body feels and functions, countering those little aches and pains that come as the body ages. If you don't have time for that much, just doing downward facing dog will make you feel oh-so-much better. Love your channel. You inspire me!

Great tips! I used to teach a step aerobics class for many years and I'm in my 50's now and I now swear by Miranda Esmonde-White's workouts on PBS. It is 23 minutes, it keeps my body flexible and strong and my posture is amazing. It is so much better to say "I'll add 2 more salads a week" than "I'm not going to eat this."

Great tips Erin and I appreciate your transparency. I put "workout" as NO. 1 in my planner every day and I congratulate myself when it's done. Positive motivational statements every morning also help me focus and stay upbeat. Thank you for making this great video.

Hi Erin. Fantastic tips! Such a helpful and positive video! You makes me feel happier already! A tip for cutting on sugar that helped me. I chose 2 days per week where I xan eat something sweet (not a huge cake obviously but still). For me it's Monday (hardest day of the week) and Friday (start of weekend). Sometimes i switch days. Like this I don't deprive myself completely but have fixed days for sweets. For sleeping on the back for me it is all about perseverance. Keep trying. Eventually at least part of the night I manage to sleep on my back. Huge improvement in wrinkles. Thanks a lot for all the work you do for us! Have great holidays!

All great tips Erin! As a Pilates Instructor I focus so much on posture...mine and everyone else! LOL!! I always tell my clients when they are standing in line at the grocery store, airport, wherever to stand with their feet in the Pilates "V", zip up your ribcage and think of having a string attached to the top of the head and someone is pulling you up. If you stand this way you are training your body to stand correctly. Your spine, organs and joints will thank you !!!

Pilates is ALL POSTURE. If you have back pain, neck etc. you want Pilates. I’m a physical therapist and I teach Pilates because of the benefits to posture, pain and flexibility problems with the population.

Hi Erin! I loved today's video! It reminded me off the days I used to be the Posture Queen, meaning, I would remind all of my friends to stand up straight! Shoulders back...girls out and tummy in! I've gotten out of the habit and I'm going to be very conscious of it from here on out. Even when I'm driving I have noticed that I've been slouching. I have an exercise suggestion...We recently bought a Total Gym and I can't begin to tell you how much I love it! I describe it as being so easy that it's like taking a nap while you work out. It's so comfortable and easy to use! I want to say that we went stupid and bought the one that was around $1, 000 and since, I have realized that the cheaper ones are just as easy and have all the same options and honestly I would and should have bought the one that goes for $273.74. Lesson learned on that! But if you or your subscribers are thinking about getting one, go for the less expensive model! There are a couple in between that are great as well. Okay, I've gotta tell you about my sleeping habits. My husband snores terribly, to the point that I was getting no sleep, so I had already moved to another room.[insert sad face] BUT, I was very sick and had to sleep sitting up in a recliner. I know they're cheesy but we had one and I began sleeping in it so I could breath easier. I realized that I was sleeping through the night on my back very comfortably and it dawned on me that I wasn't waking up with that line on the left side of my face anymore. Needless to say, I now sleep in my recliner every night and have never slept better! I did a short photo shoot in my new coat and it started to rain so I'm inside of a beautiful tree house. I'll send a pic, but the pictures made me realize that my coat is too big and I need to go a size down. Pictures never lie! Have a wonderful vacation Erin! XOXOXOXO!!!!

One possibly helpful hint for getting more exercise during the winter.... become accountable to your pet dog! If they look forward to their walk and if you love making them happy or making sure THEY have exercise...you are more apt to get your daily walk in!
