Gender stereotypes 'begin in childhood' | ITV News

Whilst adult women challenge unfairness in the workplace, children as young as seven have their own gender gap, new research shows.

The research suggests that the gender stereotyping begins early and shapes lives – limiting the choices women have later in life, with not enough choosing science and maths as core subjects to study.

a girls right to be a nurse is just as important as a boys to be in the army.

men and women are different some unfair stereotypes do start in school but men and women whilst given freedom of choice gravitate towards different professions most of the time. When will feminists accept that men dominating fields is due to you're average men having more interest in that field than your average women. Its sad how they just can't let one gender dominate certain fields due to social preference. Equality is about having the ability to chose you're profession with you're gender affecting it .It is patronising to women to fast track or encourage with funding for them to be involved in male dominated fields just for the sake of having more women.

Amazing how the gender actavist don't accept that they are imposing a view on children as they claim their parents are and at the end of the day as their PARENTS they have more right to guide children as they see fit.Let kids be kids and decide themselves then they are ADULTS.

No surprise few women wish to become bricklayers or work on oil rigs, even if they have the opportunity.

I want to be a nurse and I’m a girl so ig I’m normal . lol. But i know a girl that wants to be a firefighter .
