Good job, bro. I started like 2 months ago, and I got to say this is an amazing trade to be in. Obviously, you gotta stay aware and be safe, but other than that, great job. I'm 19 and just looking for a good start. Hope all goes well with you, God bless man 🙏

Edit: Patience is part of the progress. There's gonna be more bad days than good; but that's alright. You can't fall in despair, or else you're never gonna improve. Take your time, learn from your mistakes, help others when you can. The ones who follow the small steps in progress will be further ahead than the ones who want to do the fancy things head on. Get yourself a welder and start practicing, your never too old to learn and your never too young to teach 🙏

I started college at 16. Enrolled in the trade. I haven't looked back since. I have my AWS D1.1 6g pipe certification. I work the pipeline. Come to find out, a pipe job is harder to get than a lot of welding jobs. Found that out the hard way, but unfortunately the only way. Unless you are lucky to know someone personally. But once you got your foot in the door, it becomes easier. Somewhat.

Definitely going to the pipeline soon, I’ve been welding for about 6 months and already have mig welding with c-25 nearly perfected and next is stick welding. Keep up the hard work and don’t slack and you’ll be at the top in no time
