M3 iMac vs M1: ALL the differences, ONE REASON to Upgrade!

The first iMac with Apple Silicon was released in 2021 with the M1 chip and a new 24" form factor with multiple colors, replacing the 21.5" and 27" iMacs. Two years later, Apple has updated the 24" iMac with the M3 chip.

Let's break down all the differences, and then talk about who should upgrade, and who should not.

Thank you for this video. I have a late 2013 model. Noticed a lot of the programs I use are no longer being supported. So I think I'll go for the M3 and than upgrade again in another decade or two. :)

Looking to buy a second-hand M1 16GB iMac instead of a baseline M3 iMac. It’s much cheaper and environmentally friendly.

I unsubscribed with my main account as I plan to diversify my content and the channels I watch from each of my channels. So I subbed with this tech related account of me. (I have no content here yet).
Useless information aside (though if you see 1 guy unsub from this video it was me for the reason I mentioned above), this was a joy to watch/listen to video.
More or less I agree with you.
I admit I didn't know the M1 iMac had no 3.5mm output, but I am glad they brought it back.

I can't afford to buy one, but I admit even though it has issues that piss me off, I would probably still buy an M3 iMac if I could.
I wish they had a 27 inch version, an orange one which had the same orange in the front as in the back instead of this pastel POOP. Also the crazy prices for upgrading which are just an insult.
But as I said, if I could I would still get one for one reason, FCP.

Thanks for the video.
