I did this in girlscouts about 2 years ago and it worked so good. But i just tried this 5 mins ago and i didnt have icecream salt so i used table salt and my milk didnt turn to icecream 😭 i stuck it in the freezer and it worked

It’s actually good I remember making this as a kid

Gallon zip lock half filled with ice.
Add 1/2 cup ice cream rock salt.
In zip lock sandwich bag put 1 cup half & half milk, 1 tsp vanilla & 2 TBSP sugar.
Place closed milk bag into ice bag and zip it up.
Shake for 5 minutes.
Use gloves or wrap gallon bag in towel.
I did this with the kids at camp and I was the hero of the hot day. 😊
