After multiple conversations with different people in the industry, including high up executives at Aetna, it seems that the future of Medicare Supplements could be Plan N.

Although Plan N has additional copays and doesn't cover "Excess Charges", most people in the industry believe those excess charges are almost non-existent.

Aetna has now increased their Plan N commissions by 5% and decreased rates in several states. It seems their focus in the future is on Plan N.

For the agent, the commission are about the same, but the premium is lower for the client.

If your book is Plan F or Plan G heavy, will you be able to ward off the Plan N quotes getting hurled at them over the next few years?
