Great job. Your group did pretty good at avoiding damage. That’s not normal.

Quick tip! I macro my primary heals and damage abilities onto the same buttons with macros. Mouse over allies for the heals, target or mouse over enemies for damage. It allows a much greater homogeneity of key binds between specs!

plz do more healing videos that was so funny "I cannot see the tanks health bar, but he be fine" had me smiling also wait to a new season happens and no pugs know what they're doing, and you have to panic 90% dungeon because no one is doing mechanics correctly or interrupting & u got make up for it as a healer also dungeon get fun around 18-20+

"What have healers been complaining about this whole time? Healing is so easy. This stuff is just like a snooze fest am i right? PANICKING PANICKING PANICKING! Ok we live, we live, we live, Nice." Thats it. Thats healing life. Super chill 90% of the time following by 10% sheer terror.

Restoration Shaman?! More like Bestadoration Carman because you are literally the best shaman I have ever seen, I adore watching you master this spec and if you asked me to get in your car for candy I definitely would! I always felt like healing checks were too high in keys, that healing was too hard and not for the faint of heart. But after watching you play this spec so poorly and the key going pretty well, I can see that Blizzard has done some great balancing this season! Just kidding ofc VesperalTV, you smashed it as usual! See you tomorrow!

Spirit Walker’s Grace -> Stormkeeper -> Flame Shock -> Cloudburst ->Ancestral Guidance -> Chain Lightning x2 -> Lava Burst x2

Also, your mana is probably getting soaked up by overusing Healing Surge. Prioritize Healing Wave unless you need the fast cast. And always go Riptide into 2x Healing Wave/Surge for the Tidespeaker bonus… all while keeping Cloudburst running.

The “advanced” thing to do is to (during Cloudburst) stack the Undulation talent, spread Riptides, throw out Primordial Wave and then cast an Undulation-buffed, Prim Wave-buffed, CLEAVING Healing Wave. That puts a lot of healing into your cloudburst window.

I love resto sham… nice and simple almost totally reactive healer. Splish splash baby!

I know exactly how you feel about the healing keybind setup 😂 help/harm macros with riptide/flameshock lightning bolt/healing wave stuff like that helped me tremendously

Ive always found using clique or heal bot with mouseover macros is way easier. You can bind clicks of your mouse to heals and then use keyboard binds for damaging spells. You could be targeting an enemy the whole time and toss heals on people when they need it.

Resto Shaman is probably the friendliest healer in the game for a new healer. It has insane utility with its 12 seconds range kick, cap totem, knockback etc. You should try to use your kick as often as possible and try not to over use Chain Heal. Spread your Riptides and spot heal with Healing Waves and Prim Wave to save mana and fill your CB totem. Chain heals you only really need for big AoE moments the rest you should try to spot heal for the most part unless you have Hide Tide. Chain Heal just eats mana! I am just an Resto Shaman alt, Pres Evoker main. I would love to see you do one of these as a Pres Evoker!

I could say a lot of things and nitpick because I play all healers and have many years of experience behind me. But honestly, not a bad show of it!

Healing is funny because the difficulty isn’t always in line with the key level. I was doing 20s on my evoker week 1 at 448 and my disc priest also did 20s and a 22 on tyran in last seasons gear because I had a good group that took me.

You can certainly get away with being a bit undergeared as a healer. All depends on everyone else. The gripe about healing this expansion is how stressful it’s been. Overall healing requirements are not that high but then people just get randomly 1 shot or you have ridiculous burst healing windows you’ll need to perform. Very unfriendly for newer players to healing. But your typical weekly vault full up runs? Shouldn’t be that hard.

It'd be awesome to see you do a harder key as well as play my main. Keep it up!

If you find you're having mana issues try speccing into mana spring. mana back on riptide and lava burst casts. otherwise good stuff! love the content

Great videos. Enjoying every episode. A quick question. What is the WA that announces in the middle of the screen (like: Summon Death Touched Slaver, Adds Killed - ready to burn etc.).
Thanks.

This is my favorite healer for keys. Your group played fairly clean, but I think you could easily go up to an 18-20.

Yeah with a group that can play it is sure very easy but when they ignore mechanics and taken all damage they otherwise could avoid the blame goes always to the healer or then tank that was so toxic that I had to quit 😢
