I am using the mba m1 rn, just bought it this Wednesday. I switched from windows because the laptops often just stopped working, or got really bad really quickly, and I had never really tried MacOs before. It has been a bit weird, but nothing I can't handle, and it works really well. Overall very happy with my purchase, since I got it for like 200€ off, because it had an Icelandic keyboard on it, instead of danish. I would recommend to anyone that is a student, or just needs a laptop for browsing the web/ not heavy work.

I’ve had mine for about a year, and my only regret is not getting the 16gb ram upgrade. Even then, it’s only millisecond hiccups during heavy multitasking — actually have had no issues doing design work in adobe illustrator. All in all, pleased with the purchase!

My wife convinced me to buy this M1 in case anything happened to my main pc. It arrived in February and the main pc died one week later. It took like 4 weeks to fix everything so I kept using it full time everyday with music production, video editing etc. It's crazy how good it is even in 2022. Just got the M1 last week, and surely won't regret it later. Despite how good the m2 is, I don't really like all the color way that they might have. I'll use my m1 for the next 4 years, and buy the new one if there's any better options.

Watching this video on my base model 2017 12 inch MacBook. I've loved that computer! In spite of what a lot of people say about it, it's been a great daily driver for me. After 5 years it's finally to starting to show its age on performance and battery life. The M1 MacBook Air would be a HUGE upgrade and I'm looking forward to it in the near future.

Thanks to you, I got my M1 MBA just a month ago. Your videos help nudged me to give it a try and boy am I blown away. Build is quality, ergonomically designed, keyboard is great, screen is retina, trackpad is intuitive, MacOS Monterey is so mature now, performance is beast and it syncs with my iPad Pro with Universal Control seamlessly. I dare say it is the best laptop in the market right now performance per dollar.

An equivalent spec'ed windows laptop could cost nearly twice as much. Dell for instance needs an i7 (with fans) to even try to be on par and you need to pay extra for a sharper screen. And their XPS series cut my finger tips whilst I was attempting to open it holding it up. The low side of the screen dug into my fingers that held the bottom of the laptop. I was a Microsoft Windows advocate for a long time but now Apple has won me over.

Got a MBP second hand m1 8/512 from a friend and OMG what a solid performer. No hiccups or lags. Never saw the MacOS beach ball again. So far never heard the fan during my daily tasks and battery life is incredible. The only downside (not a deal breaker tough) for me is two port at the same side. Why not one each side?

I just bought a MBA M1 16/512 3 days ago, moving from a 15.6 inch gaming laptop (bought in 2018). So far the experiences are seamless:
- The battery life is extremely long, can last for a full day of work
- When unplugged, the performance is still the same
- The screen quality is absolutely amazing
- The chassis, the build quality, the keyboard, the speakers, etc. It's on a different level
- The trackpad is really good, I thought everyone was exaggerating when speaking about it. But after the first day I don't even miss the mouse anymore.
