SHOULD YOU BUY the M1 MacBook Pro?!

The release of Apple’s new M1 chip has brought with it a host of compact and powerful devices. For us as users, this is great news because even entry-level machines like the M1 Mac Mini provide more power and efficiency than we’ve been able to get at these price points. But since smaller, lighter and less expensive devices like the M1 MacBook Air still offer this new chip, is there still a reason for the average user to get the new MacBook Pro? And if you’re a professional, I think that there are some important limitations that you should be aware of before buying.

Today we are going to take a look at the brand new #M1MacBookPro and whether it is a good value for a user who is looking for a powerful, compact, light and capable laptop. Someone who wants a little more than the #MacBook Air can offer and is looking for a device to last them for at least the next 4-5 years. I just bought an MBP with 16G and 512 SSD. This is my first Apple computer and so far I really like it. Not having used function keys, I really like the task bar.

Currently 10-1-22, at Best Buy the M1 Air is $899 and the Mac Book Pro space gray Is also $899! I wanted silver but that in the Pro is $949. What do I do now? Really don't need more than the 8GB -256. I use an M1 mini at home. Which would you chose? Sale ends tonight

If you’re a student in the summer they give free AirPods if you purchase a laptop. I did it but didn’t like the MacBook Air I got so I returned it and ended up getting AirPods anyways. But they only have a 2 week return policy in case any of you don’t know (I didn’t and almost missed it.) I returned it 2 weeks on the spot only because it was a lot of money for me and I was eager to get it back quickly, and I’m so glad I did because I would’ve lost money on a device I would not use otherwise. Almost $972 to be exact.

Rather than suggesting people get an intel Mac in some cases, people should just wait for the higher end versions coming later this year; like a mini-led 14 inch pro with the more advanced pro options you mentioned and possibly an even better M2 chip. Because when those hit the market you will really feel left out with old silicon and an old design to boot.

I was tempted but i'm a Premiere Pro and Studio One (audio software) user and I'm going to wait until the platform is stable and the software developers catch up with updating their programs

I use 16 inches MBP, 6 cores, 32 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD. GPU with 8 GB of VRAM. I use two 4k displays. Works very well for me. I believe VRAM helps when you use several displays

I don't need a lot of storage, I need the ability to have 40+ tabs in chrome opened and quite a few apps opened as well, so 32 GB of RAM works very well. And 6 cores CPU is enough for me

But I believe more cores should help to keep multiple apps to work

Great review sagi 💯 awesome content ✨ personally am really bugged by the two port situation because the old 13" pro has 4 ports and it's a pro so it should have 4 ports. Along with this it would be great if it was a little upgradeble like you said an external gpu it would have been great. Waiting for the other videos 💯keep up the good work

I used the air to edit and finalcut ate up 130gb of storage on 5 minute of 10 bit video. That’s how it manages to be faster than da Vinci
