Hey everyone, Dennis here! Turns out I made a mistake regarding the stat bonus for different races. In the release version, every race can add a +2 and a +1 to a stat of choice. They will still have different abilities, like a breath attack for dragonborn, so it's still a pretty important choice to make.

I just wanted to point out that the devs said that in the full release they have removed the race specific stat bonuses that are in the early access. they wanted players to feel free to pick any combination of class and race without worrying about losing out on stat bonuses.

For Wizard, Evocation is a great one since your AOE spells won't damage allies.

Something to think about when multiclassing will be how beneficial the first 2 or 3 levels are to your build. In dnd 5e most classes are front loaded with some really good stuff. Most common are the cleric and fighter. Cleric gives spells and a subclass. Fighter gives a second action and a heal for 2 levels.

1st playthrough I played as a Wild Elf Bard from the College of Swords. It's absolutely nuts. Their own spells and and then later levels get Mage Level spells. For lols I had Counter Spell for Gale and my Bard. It was quite funny to me going "nope" to everything enemies were trying to cast.

Currently playing as a Gloom Stalker Ranger High Elf. Pretty fun with Dread Ambusher.

I used to play a Tempest cleric during one of my DnD campaigns. He would control the battlefield and do a lot of crowd control, he didn't do much damage but he was so friggen fun to play.
