These are the only guides I’ve found that have laid everything out so concisely and in what scenarios things work together.

I can't believe people are legitimately upset that you're doing these videos and not more Starfield. Like, grow up people.

Just want to say thanks for making these class guides. They have dramatically improved my enjoyment in the game by helping me better understand it. I would recommend these to anyone.

I know for a fact if I play a cleric I will NEVER use devine intervention since I will keep saving it for "when I really need it"

A cleric that just woke up from a nap is the best class in the game!

Cheers, you've earned my sub.
Your Baldur vids are sweet, short, to the point and informative. No nonsense at all, and its a god send.
Great work! Wish you all the best.

I love these guides as it’s informative without poisoning the well with some type of broke meta build. Really quality work.

My last table top character was a Knowledge Cleric, so I tried my best to replicate him on first play through. I understand why they’re the least played class due to Shadowheart being so readily available, but they’re definitely the most underrated. Extremely fun and powerful.

Because Shadowheart starts as trickery domain most people don't realize how good other domains are. I also struggled with trickery Shadow but as soon as i respected her to light i just loved it. Tempest does more damage against ordinary targets for sure but there aren't many enemies with radiant resistance so i think light is better against strong enemies. There aren't many light spells neither in other classes. It also provides great protection with warding flare which could be used on allies as well.

Cleric is one of those classes that really pays to max out. Multiclassing might be king elsewhere in this game. But the level six Cleric spells are absolutely worth it. In our multi player game we have two Clerics. My Light domain and a Shadowheart. My Light Cleric snapped up Markoheshkir Legendary Quarterstaff as soon as we got it. Cast extraplanar ally with arcane battery and then Hero's Feast. We roll in to combat with a fighter maxed out on parasite powers trailing 4 zombies behind him, Two Clerics, a Bard and two Planar Allies. All juiced on Hero's Feast and having blade ward stacked on them for ten rounds thanks to Hellrider's Pride/Devotee's Mace combo. It's like having our own personal army.

Thanks so much for these videos. Paired this with your "Play BG how you want to play" video to decide whether or not i want to keep playing cleric.

I went in blind to BG3 after watching a Tempest domain video and haven't really been satisfied with it. Giving Light domain a go!

I've could not understand this class with Shadowheart and was really tempted to fully respec to Druid. But in act 2 there's some amazing situations to just end a fight with Turn Undead.

The one mistake here is that the damage type of War Domain's Divine Strike: Weapon matches that of the weapon doing the attack. So spears will deal an additional +1d8 Piercing damage instead, not Slashing.

"and it's not immediately clear during character creation what you're gonna get" that's my biggest problem with bg3. it doesn't show you what you can get in future levels, it makes you either go in blind or makes you search up everything beforehand. even if you're an experienced 5e player you won't know everything because some things have changed. in 5e draconic sorcerers get dragon wings at level 14, in bg3 they get fly at level 11. the pathfinder games do it so much better, you can plan all 20 levels just from the character creation screen

Every day, I am eagerly awaiting the next video like this.

REALLY considering using Cleric on a couple of my next characters. At least a few levels.
