In my teenage years I shared the same problem Saint Augustine had. When I converted to Catholicism almost Seven Years ago. I now fully understand the errors of my old self more clearly. Lust is a dangerous vice and mortal sin. The Eucharist and praying the rosary is how you defeat it.

Honestly, I was firstly skeptical with the video. I thought it was going to be "just don't sin bro", "sin is bad" or explaining extensively about something I already accepted. But instead it was a really sumarizing, practical and loveful video that sounded like an advice from a friend. It honestly helped me a lot both understading about it and mainly dealing with it. As someone slowly coming back into the Christian faith, I've been made to pause and look at all of what society encourages in us. Like.. why is so much SO overly sexualized? Actually why? And how can we reasonably expect people to follow the straight and narrow en-masse?

In my workplace (metal working shop), there's this one guy that keep putting up this pornographic picture in my workplace, and he (and anotger co worker) get upset when i take it down. They know I'm catholic, and that I think that nudity is genuinly disguisting. I have zero tolerance for pornography, and they don't care.

Hi! I'm a new follower! And also a new catholic Christian girl (26 y.o) have some struggles bc I got closer to this religion by myself around 1 month ago or so; i started reading the bible, going to church and watching some content online, and I was already 5 months into a relationship with a guy. So we had and still have intimacy etc, also bc he is not christian, but his mom is!! So I grew up praying and all for that untill middle school and then decided to quit it. His name is also Jesus (but its pronunciation is in spanish and means that same thing as in English! And my name in Italian is Federica and his abbreviation is fede that in Italian means faith, so its beautiful for me!) . I grew up surrendered by this religion, but I was more into it when I was little bc my grandmother took me at the church with her and in highschool was an 1 hour of class about it. I'm gradually dressing more modesty(even if I was already into this path in someway), stop cursing, stop drinking(even if i never be drunk), i stopped watching *Orn or s*xting or even posting pics of me half naked(after a break up that made me feel really depressed about those things).Him and I love each other so much, he is respectful, sweet, listen to me, he is ok with my religion etc, so i feel he is really faithful and I feel he really is the one for me, Im living this relationship with purpose of living together and marry him. But I found out also s*x is a no no before marriage, but growing up no one told me even if I'm Baptised and did the holy communion so i know jesus helps us or stay with us even if we are not perfect, but if there are some tips that could help me to live my relationship without alter it completely it would be appreciate. Pray for me please! Thanks

I HIGHLY recommend consecrating yourself to Mary. The 33 Days to Morning Glory book really helped me get over the habit. I can’t say it the temptation is fully gone, but I’ve noticed some other thoughts or ideas intervene leading me away from the temptation when tempted.
