Greed hoards, envy covets, gluttony consumes, lust indulges, sloth is apathetic, wrath obsesses, and pride knows what he is.

Bro envy can drive you mad and cause you to curse fate itself. If you get envious of people's innate traits, like natural beauty or talent, then you can get bitter that God mad them beautiful or better at something. A something that you could've put much better use to than them, who definitely don't deserve it.

The exploration of the seven deadly sins unveils a profound tapestry of human nature. Greed, a relentless hunger for wealth, overshadows meaningful connections. Wrath unleashes violence, leaving scars on personal and societal landscapes. Sloth traps individuals in a cycle of neglect, sowing seeds for other sins. Envy begets a toxic environment of rivalry, festering bitterness, while lust blurs the boundaries between passion and obsession. Gluttony's insatiable appetite extends beyond the physical realm, leaving others deprived. Pride blinds us to flaws, hindering self-improvement. Rooted in religious ideology, these tales resonate with glimpses of these sins in daily life, guiding us toward introspection and growth in the face of our innate desires.

Sloth is the best deadly sin because it prevents you from committing the other deadly sins

Edit: Everyone who's saying you can still commit other sins while having sloth: If that's the case you just don't have enough sloth, you need more sloth to the point of being completely uncapable of commiting the other sins because even commiting them consume your already low energy

I can also see why pride is the foundation of all sins, without pride you wouldnt have wrath because nothing could make you upset with your ego(pride). You cant have greed without pride because in order to be greedy you have to feel as though your better than others.

Notice how lust has the same amount of letters and the same letters as sl*t

Lust isn’t just about sexual matters. Lust is “people and things exist for my use.”

I had in my life a perfect example for a persons who could represent perfectly pride. He was almost never remorseful, he didn't believed he did something wrong to someone usually when that happened he claimed that person to be unfair, a wimp or a bad person all together and because of this he had a strong victim mentality and thought that he is the person who suffers the most from the unfairness of others. It gets interesting from here...

Because of all of these, he was envious and greedy, he envied everyone that succeeded in something even tho it was through merit and he denigrated that person as much as he could. Tho, he was a really smart person and very skillful guy, but because of some of his decisions that were driven by this pride he always shot himself in the foot. He wasn't willing to accept to be bossed around and had problems with money, his parents and other persons because of this, he wasn't willing to have someone superior over him and in the context of friend groups he had this need to dominate all of us so he can have this feeling of control and leadership that "he deserved".

In the end, I am telling you this to give you an example of how pride can ruin your life and the reason why I am telling you in the past tense is because I am no longer friends with this guy. He did some of the most down bad things to us and never regretted what he did to us because he didn't saw those bad things as... bad things.

As this video explains, pride is the ultimate sin that not only affects others but it can affect even yourself.

Thanks for the awesome and thorough video! Now please do “The 7 Heavenly Virtues Explained”!

Avoiding the 7 deadly sins is one thing, but in order for one to become their true best self, they must abandon those sins entirely and live up to the polar opposite. That’s what separates the heroic from the good and neutral. 👼
