I've definitely been a big advocate for doing your own nails in the comfort of your home for some time. Just because it's safer and actually a lot of fun to do your own nails and show them off!
SOoooooooo...I went to amazon and purchased their #1 selling at home gel manicure kit to see if it's worth it or not. Come along with me on this two week journey and decide for yourself if you'd ever give it a go.

The cuticle fork works but your hands need to soak in water first to make the dead skin a round your cuticle soft so it the dead skin will come off a lot better☺️

The cuticle fork thing needs to be used with a cuticle remover to soften your cuticles. I use sally Hansen cuticle remover gel.

I have this kit at home and I didn’t have any problem with my cuticles. I soaked them in really warm water and it was able to come out easily without looking like that.

Great review! Thank you! I've been using beetles gel polish for about 2 months now. I do really like it, however I have noticed how weak my nails have become and breaking more easily. When I remove the gel I do soak them and gently remove the gel. Is there a recommendation you have to gain nail strength back. Or do you think I should take a break from the gel. Thanks for the review!

The cuticle fork can work but you should soak your nails before hand! I love mine because I don't over pick at my nails with it like I would with clippers. It is a nice tool once you get used to it!

The cuticle cutter is actually amazing if you buy it on its own. $5 gets you a good one.

The cuticle fork is usually for a person that has a lot of dead skin around there cuticle it won’t necessarily work if you barley have dead skin that’s why is didn’t work for you.

Can you use this light for other brand gel polishes?? I’ve never tried gel nails before so I’m thinking about getting this to try it.... it would be nice if the light can be used with different brand polishes.

I bought this exact kit but with different colors. I absolutely love this! The polish application is easy, beautiful colors, the lamp works fantastic and the polish lasts a good long time. I work in a deli with my hands in dish water for a good 4 hours and I can attest to the durability of this product.

Thank you for you review on this product. I was wondering how others felt about it. Well, I bought this kit and it's working out pretty well for me. I used the UV lamp after each layer of polish as instructed and over the edge of the nail. I'm now at the end of week three with the same polish and I have only 1 chipped nail.I must say it does last pretty long if you're not beating up your nails. I've done all types of chores around the house including washing dishes and I haven't experienced any other chipping except the one nail. Now I don't do dishes everyday but a few times a week. I'm going to repolish in a day or two due to the amount of growth I have otherwise I would wait to polish them again. I have not problems using the cuticle tool after I soaked my hands.
