The #1 Selling Impact on Amazon Dyno'd vs Real Brands Like Milwaukee & More

Today we test the best selling impact wrench on Amazon, the Avid Power 330ft-lb cordless 1/2". These somehow outsell every name brand on the website often, but we're thinking the $80-90 price point has something to do with it. But can it bring the beans? Only the dyno knows.

I don't know WHY I care about the results of the budget Amazon impacts and why I love these so much, but I DO

I'm glad to see you doing tests of Amazon offerings. Unfortunately, Amazon's policies for "behavior" in their social channels (on-site reviews) are aggressive in preventing much negative information from being on the product pages. Yup, I was banned for honest negative reviews with test data provided... mostly on batteries. I also had a healthy share of positive and neutral reviews. So, good on you for putting info up here that is honest; good, bad, or otherwise. I look forward to seeing the bigger picture as you create that table of info.

Astro thor impacts are finally back in stock. I'm convinced you're the reason it sold out immediately the first go round.

Thanks for doing these tests regardless of the pressure these companies are now putting on you to not. You guys rock thanks so much. Am very looking forward to these continued Amazon tests as I am considering one for just that a trunk tool.

Not really a no name brand but, I'm curious as to how Master Force sold at Menards stacks up.

Yes the No cry please on Amazon! They're electric screwdriver is actually really solid, although it's a much simpler tool to make well.

I use my ridged on a daily basis and run it hard. No complaints since I bought it 2 & half years ago.

I hope Harbor Freight sees this 🤣 Longevity could be questionable, but this impact would be handy to have in a pinch!

For my automotive and truck repairs, I stick to air tools, always dependable. My IR231 is 20+ years old and works like a charm.

I used to work at Advance Auto Parts and before I left a month ago, we had gotten Diehard electrical tools months before. I’ve been really wonder how the Diehard 1/2” Impact Wrench compares to other brands

I love the data driven testing! Especially the run time side-by-side with data. Keep up the good work!

Nice test guys, good to see these no name brands aren't absolute junk like we may have thought. If nothing else they could make a great gift for someone young or starting out their journey. Thanks for your diligence as always, keep crushing!

I have the Avid Power. Did a tire rotation and it took 30 minutes. It did break loose the lug nuts on my 2001 Jeep WJ. Torque setting on my Jeep is 110ft lbs. Still broke loose all the lug nuts. I dont regret my purchase.

When you check some of these other brands, also let us know if the battery seems to cross platform also.

Awesome man, this was actually my first impact about 2 years ago. Only thing that sucks is that the battery dies in the cold fairly easy, as I had it in the trunk of my car and it completely died, meanwhile my dewalt batteries were fine.

This is the content I want to see! Try TECCPO, KIMO, Litheli, or JCB Tool.
