Today I had this weird desire to clean my room. But I wanted to do it properly, so I pulled up this video and played it in the background on repeat while I cleaned.

I took things out of random boxes and started organizing them and I stumbled upon a sealed envelope from my dad that he had sent me but I never opened. Inside was a note from years ago when I was a kid going to camp along with $100.

I really understand what he means by confronting the devils in the family. One devil that has been in my family for generations is hoarding, something that we all struggle with.

My house reflects my mood. When my house is cluttered I feel like that clutter is in my mind at the same time. I decided to decluter my living room. I didn't worry about the rest of the house, Just my front room. I did it this week. I cleaned and got rid of stuff and put photos up of my kids. Every morning now I wake up and I walk into that living room and I feel so good. I feel declutered. Now I'm moving on to my kitchen. The positivity I feel from just making that one room a nice place to incredible. Jordan Peterson is the greatest thinker and intellectual of his generation and maybe one of the greatest of all time.
