Andi Norton loved Legos growing up. At age six, Norton put their legos right up their nose. When the little piece wouldn't come out, Norton put a Lego man in the same nostril. Although his mom was able to take out the Lego man, she didn't realize the other tiny piece was still inside. For the next 26 years, Norton was tormented by congestion, asthma and sleep apnea but never made the connection. While in the shower, Norton blew his nose and the Lego piece popped out.

It’s so crazy to think every single time he sneezed, or breathed out heavily in any way for 26 YEARS, it NEVER shook loose..

I’d write a bad review for every doctor who looked up your nose and didn’t see it.

If he never found it. Hundreds of years later it would be the only thing left of him

After 26 years you can finally play with your complete set of Lego. Yay!

We were all worried about microplastics this whole time, meanwhile Andy had macro plastic in his nose and he's still alive.

This news story sounds like the real life “Homer stuck a crayon up his nose”.

BTW, I mean no ill will towards Andi.

This happened to my brother. He stuck toy gun pellets into his nose when he was around five and had them in there for over five years. My mom took him to Mexico because his US doctor couldn't figure out why he was unable to breathe right from one nostril. Took that doctor less than a minute to get a plier and remove all of the pellets. A bunch of mucus and blood also came out. This happened in the 90s.

I must’ve been the only kid with no desire to have toys stuck anywhere in my body.

I had a piece of glass in my back for 45 years. I was in a car accident as a teenager and got some cuts on my back. One area was always painful and hard - I thought it was scar tissue. Then one day it started getting irritated and a little infected and felt like something was pushing out. Got my tweezers back there and started digging a little and I heard/felt a crunching sound like metal scraping metal. Felt something hard and got the tweezers on it and pulled it out. It was a shard of window glass.

That must have been absolutely tormenting! I’m glad he finally got it out and hope he feels far, far better now…

I once choked on a slice of green pepper when I was eating a pizza. I had a sore throat that whole day and night and the next day I had a cold. I literally sneezed that green pepper out of my nose the next day. It never actually went down — it went UP. Thank goodness the sneeze got rid of it.

That lego has watched him grow. When he was playing, that lego was there. When he was fighting, that lego was there.

Wow! This can be dangerous to have a Lego piece stuck for all these years! I am glad that the story has a happy ending. 😊

That kind of sucks for Andi finally realizing that he caused his own health problems due to his actions as a child. Hopefully now all of his health problems completely go away.

That's one of the Urban Legends you hear but never believe! My Mom is 89 and she said when she was in Kindergarten a boy stuck an orange crayon up his nose and broke it off. The doctor said just leave it to come out on its own and she said he had bright orange boogers for the next 2 years until it was all melted and blown out!

Put it back, I hate seeing an unfinished build.
