I love that you showed Seiko, Orient, Tissot, etc for the affordable watch brands. Not some throw away fashion brands. Quality timepieces can be had for very low cost. This shows how knowledgeable you really are on what you discuss.

My sister-in-law who happens to be from Galicia, Spain once told me: 'If I see a well-groomed man he's either gay or a notorious womenizer, at least here in Spain'. My reply was 'Even when we take showers it has now been stereotyped'.

Important things: 0:53 First Thing - The Perfect Fit; 2:16 Second Thing - Your Grooming Habits; 5:09 Third Thing - Fresh Haircut; 6:00 Fourth Thing - Styling Your Hair; 6:44 Fifth Thing - Watch; 7:34 Sixth Thing - Clean Shoes; 8:09 Seventh Thing - Avoid Logos; 9:10 Eight Thing - Steam And Iron Your Clothes; 9:53 Ninth Thing - Your Scent; and 10:50 to summarize all the told here.
I think that third thing (fresh haircut), and fourth thing (styling your hair) can also be seen in second thing (the grooming habits). Why? Because that is also part of essential hygiene (let's put it that way).
I even care with me wet wipes (one of my family members is a doctor, and I taught from that member that thing), and hand sanitizer. That can be additional tip. Or to be precise Tenth Thing - Carrying A Hand Sanitizer (or something that will help us to have clean hands) (or tenth advice, call it whatever you want). It helped me a lot (believe it or not). And I'm still carrying it when I go out of house, because I don't want to be infected by viruses, and bacteria (believe it or not).
Of course everybody is willing to live how they wish and want.
Thank you so much Courtney ❤💙🤍.

Doesn't matter if you're a man or woman, if you're considered attractive or ugly- knowing what looks good on you can make a world of difference. What looks great on someone else may not necessarily look good on you, no matter it's hairstyles, clothes and so on. Having said that, Courtney is absolutely right on, and I'm merely pointing out the nuances that lie beyond her valuable tips here!

Guys, look good for yourself, not for some lazy, gold digger.

As a guy who owns several high end watches, I appreciate you saying watches dont have to be expensive. They don't. Just pick one out that best reflects who you are and wear it with confidence. A Timex Marlin is as cool as a Calatrava if you wear it right. The watch does (should) not make the man. The man makes the watch. Cheers

Just stumbled across your channel and this was my first video. I live in a very rural area of western Colorado and honestly most men here are completely opposite of every point you made. Which brings me to my next point. My wife typically says to me when we’re going to run errands or do some light shopping. She often asks or comments that why am I dressing up or looking nice. It makes me feel good she notices and I always tell her because I want to look good for her. I don’t want people to see me as a representation of her and I’m looking like a bum. I appreciate and most often follow those same elements to looking nice. Fit is a little harder for me as I’m 6’4” and 265 with a dad bod. Clothing that fits proper is a challenge when most places carrying 3x are still too short in the sleeves and overall garment length. Most 3x garments are cut short and wide. No help. Anyways, good video👍🏻. On to the next with a sub!

Courtney, Thank you for doing this, many people these days are unaware how much that first impression matters. I was lucky as I was brought up by a father who knew how to dress well and passed on those things to me.

I'm glad you mentioned a fresh hair cut because I got one two weeks ago. I am rocking my hair style with confidence, and I feel cool when someone tells me that it looks good on me.

La Roche Posay for skincare. Its really really good.
For hair, if you learn how to blowdry, it makes an insane difference as opposed to just wetting it and using paste. Blowdry + use styling paste.
The whitening strips for teeth are also a good suggestion.
Any little thing helps. I've always felt kinda ugly lol, but these things have helped for sure.

I’ve always been taught that a watch is one of the most important accessory for a gentleman. My father was born in a country where a watch was considered a sign of wealth because not everyone could afford one. Being military inclined, a watch is also an invaluable tool for navigation (non digital) and for of telling time, but the management of time itself. It’s hard to pass it’s importance to my sons nowadays, but I’m persistent about the relevance of a watch. I don’t care for jewelry and my wife understands me well as my watch and folding knives are the most important tools that accompany me when we are out and about albeit that some of my knives are more expensive than some pieces of jewelry. I suppose that I could consider some of my knives are jewelry and it definitely gives me a sharper image.

Sure, you can make yourself look better but you can’t make yourself act better until you go through the healing process.

Here's a tip which won't cost you any money...posture. Stand straight and try not to slouch. Posture exudes confidence

Simple things I've learnt over the last year from watching Courtney s videos, I now carry a nail clippers with me because I work on building site s, I have lost 1 stone in weight from walking, eating right and I do weights twice a week, I alternate my aftershave seasonly, I get regular fade haircuts, I have a skincare routine, it's all been brilliant for me

Normally I'm not a huge fan of these types of videos, but this one is spot on. It's impossible to overstate the points mentioned, especially the one concerning fit. I had a bunch of clothes tailor made and it's like having a superpower. Last two events I went to, afterwards a woman contacted me to ask if we could get together. Never happened before.

Regarding hand care: It took me many years to realize that hand moisturizer actually diminishes the occurrence of hang nails; Many guys may be like me in not liking the greasy feel of hand moisturizer on the palm side of their hand, so I learned to apply a large dab to the BACKSIDE of one hand, then rub the backsides of both hands together ...then outward toward the fingernails where the moisturizer can be effective. It works like a charm -- especially during dry seasons -- and your palms won't end up slick. (Then, if you ever do find yourself with a hang nail, remember to CLIP that loose skin rather than pull at it).

You can get some fairly nice watches for pretty cheap if you buy resold.
