Don't like to double-post, but I'd argue that Zaheer has the experience edge. Kuvira has more experience as a bender, but Zaheer's been fighting against bender and non-bender alike since well before Kuvria was born.

Otherwise, I agree that this is a close fight.

Kuvira is the most underrated character in all avatar. Shes easily top 5 benders if we exclude bloodbenders and avatars.She will no-diff zaheer. Nice edit

I have a feeling Zaheer takes this. Kuvira is a good technical fighter and she has precision, but Zaheer can fly around and do sneaky attacks while dodging all of Kuvira’s attack.

I’d imagine the fight be like Zaheer flying around and dodging her attacks. He counters with small air strikes to throw her off guard and find her weak points. Zaheer most definitely is using his environment to his advantage. Once she is all tired and worn out, Zaheer goes in for the kill. Depending on what the stage is like, he might even pick her up and drop her, or blast her off a ledge to her demise.

Ok I've changed my mind. It could go either way but I'm leaning towards Zaheer.

All he has to do is create an air blast, which will take her down, then suffocate her.

BUT

Kuvira could also, with a bunch of luck, pin him down with metalbending.

I wouldn't count on it very much though, since Zaheer is very fast.

And to everyone arguing about how Zaheer and Kuvira took on Korra, she was with the poison which slowed and weakened her down. Even if she was powerful at that moment, it still damaged her. That's just like you have a sprained ankle but still being the fastest runner on the track.

I think Kuvira wins mid-high diff. Zaheer has more potential and flight is a useful ability but he was also getting beaten by Teznin while Kuvira was on par with base S4 Korra.

Zaheer is mad underated he mopped a master waterbender like 20 minutes after getting air bending beat the avatar and her father in a fight and was consider a major problem long before he got his bending

only reason this fight is as close as it is, is because of the inherent difficulty of fighting an airbender in a world where they basically haven't meaningfully existed for the last 100 years, ie. no one knows *How* to fight them
