I live in Suffolk County, New York. New York City does not recognize the state of New York of Suffolk County pistol permit but Suffolk County recognizes New York City. What a kick in the balls.

Doesn't mean a thing to the rest of New York State. Upstate residents can't carry in NYC unless we get NYPD permission there are two different standards a state permit should be good in the whole state

This is still BS. My NYS issued CCW ( I’m not NYC ) is not recognized by NYC. I already cleared NYS background checks, new BS CCIA training reqs…. and paid for it. To get CCW in NYC, I have to go thru the whole process again and pay for it again. Same with renewals.
So a NYC resident enjoys CCW in entire state. Now a non NYS resident can carry in NYC and entirety of NYS. Being a non NYC, but still NYS licensee, becomes 3rd class. This is unacceptable, and should have been addressed before issuing to outsiders.

The ability to own and carry arms is a right in all 50 states. That's it. Anything else is unconstitutional and unlawful.

Im so sick of the courts, 4 years to get nothing, the courts have no teeth.
No matter what the rulings are, the states just make a law slightly different and 4 more years to have it over ruled, maybe then new law, 4 years, new law 4 years...ad infium.
