Just beat the game after dying hundreds of times. The best RPG i've played in a long time and its my first Souls experience. I highly recommend it!! Very frustrating at first but satisfying af when you get the hang of it

I just downloaded the game last night, and as a veteran of the souls games having NEVER even played the original demons souls that started it all. I have to say this game is beautiful, but the COMBAT, the combat is easily the most weighty and you can really feel the impact of your swings. The backstabs and riposte animations are absolutely brutal and I've only beat the Tower Knight at this point and made it though a bit of Smith town I think it's called, but holy shit I'm so in love and just thankful I have the opportunity to play a somewhat OG souls game that spawned all the other ones we love today.

Does everyone remember when Demon soul’s first came out? I remember just hearing about this little Japanese RPG that doesn’t look great but apparently the few that have tried it say it’s got some really cool ideas and it’s HARD. Now that same game is probably the most anticipated game to lunch with PS5! Selling consoles. Mind blowing.

Storyline on the original was sublime. I remember playing the original after I discovered dark souls and it was amazing.

I've played pretty much all of the souls games except for the original Demon's Souls. I gotta say I am loving this game! Love the changes Bluepoint has made. I still die plenty, get frustrated, but more importantly still get the thrill when overcoming something particularly challenging. Am having a great time with this game so far!

Damn, they seriously upgraded the visuals. I never played the original, only watched some gameplay here and there but I've got to say that this may be the most visually appealing Dark Medieval Fantasy game I've seen, the insane amount of detail, just damn.

When you buff your sword with fire the haptic feedback makes it feel like you're running your hand across your sword. very cool

This is my first souls like game, I’ve never played any of the dark souls or anything, I am very glad this is my first step into this genre, what an amazing remake this is!
