The return to Boletaria is a welcome one. Demon's Souls Remake on the PlayStation 5 shines bright as one of the first true showcases of what this current console generation is capable of, on top of being a faithful recreation of one of the PS3's best action RPGs.

This is, surprisingly, an incredibly engaging review by IGN's standards. They actually show a semblance of character which is quite nice. Feels less corporate and more personal.

Playing this game on a Sony x900h looks INCREDIBLE. I was blown away by the insane detail and colors in Stonefang mine and even in the Nexus. This game feels like you're playing an Unreal Engine showcase demo.

As someone who lost an entire rare armor set to a combined invasion, surprise attack, and over encumbered inventory causing me to drop the whole set just before I died loosing it forever.... that "send to storage" option is a godsend.
