How to find missing materials and files in Blender to fix those pink/purple textures.

This was done in Blender 2.91 but will also work in other versions.

I'll also show you how to pack files into your .blend file.

So I went into the folder where all my materials/textures are and it still didn't find them, even though its the exact folder they're placed in. What did I do wrong? I didn't rename them at all.

When I go to search for missing files, none of my folders are there with textures, but when I go to where the file is stored from the file manager, they are all there.

So I downloaded an obj and the creator already added textures to it as I see that in the shader editor. The problem is that the texture files didn’t come with the zip folder so blender can’t find them. Is there a way of resolving this?

This doesn't work for everybody, and I don't know why. I keep the same texture library on 2 PCs and when I work on a blend file on the other PC I have to literally point to each PBR texture folder. Why the heckkkk
