Today’s session is all about grounding in the good stuff. You can do this! I know it’s getting more difficult to show up. I told you it would be challenging at times. We have been preparing for this. And for all the difficult moments off the mat too. I am sharing one of my secret life tools today:

A mantra to anchor you - in almost every way.

“My breath is my anchor, my anchor is my breath.”

i dont know why, maybe its because this year started more advanced than the other years, or maybe its the current situation but these pratises are really so sweet and well balanced, i love showing up every day, especially with the live feed. i only ever sensed the ywa communitty in the youtube comments, but seeing everyone showing up day after day, wishing each other a nice day and nurturing practise gives a whole new meaning to this.

I had to stay in a room with coworkers last night due to weather and was afraid I’d skip today’s practice due to fear of being watched. It was a little awkward but I did it and I’m so glad I did! Now I feel even more inspired for the day to come! ❤️

Adriene and YWA community, I adopted a very scared baby guinea pig a couple of days ago and did this practice today. You always encourage us to move slowly, and well, as the baby guinea pig adjusts, she is alone in an enclosure in the room where I do yoga. Any quick movements startle her and she runs and hides. As I did yoga today, I was extra careful to move slowly in an effort to calm her. She came out and adventured a few times as I did yoga. I like to think that moving like you’re trying not to startle a baby guinea pig is a healthy pace for me some days. ☺️☺️

Day 17 is the day I've previously drifted away. Not this year though, I'm finding doing it everyday when it goes live really helps my motivation.

I had to skip Day 15 after a painful breakup of a relationship. I just couldn’t bring myself to the mat — too sad even for my beloved yoga. So I did 15 and 16 together today, and I feel much better! The timing of these two were incredible for me. I loved the mantra you suggested in 16 — it helped me remember that I have my breath as my anchor and don’t need anything else. Grateful for you, Adrienne. Namaste 🙏

There is nothing like a good night of sleep to heal and rejuvenate. I had a hard day yesterday, but have recommitted to today’s yoga practice and I feel recharged. My best to everyone in doing today’s practice.

After 30 days of yoga in January 2023, I continued this series Move and I'm on day 17 now, damn, the changes this brought in my life. IT'S TRULY AMAZING!!

After 3 years of on/off yoga with Adriene I finally felt like I found my breath in this practice. When in the resting posture I was also greeted by the pleasant sounds of birds chirping. Today is a good day 💚

I can’t recall the last time I surprised myself with my strength as when I was able to do the side planks during this practice. Telling myself “I am strong” must be working!

I appreciated the encouragement to modify if low on energy, which I am today. It's hard for me to "let myself off the hook" sometimes but learning to love myself differently. I'm proud for listening to my body and for finding place to relax and feel ease in bow pose. I had moments of enjoyment in bow pose! Unbelievable. Only took three years of YWA :D
