Thanks for this information. I’m a naturally gifted archer myself. I have a built in ability to miss shot after shot and all I have to do is take great care in my shot sequence and a consistent straight back release and use high quality equipment and I can Miss like no one else on the range! Enjoy 😂❤!

Just received my first string from these guys, and I am very impressed. Highly recommended.

You guys should make another string video 😉

Nice explanation. Have only used b55 so far but was thinking about ordering some d97. And you guys string building wax is AWESOME!

Solid info, i shot olympic when i was a kid, shot 55 strings because the bows were older than me by alot 🤣 recently got back to archery and went with modernized horsebows and got several poundages, they prefer FF, violent little bows, noisy AF, but speeds rival some compounds, love it

Cool! I inherited a Browning Nomad I, and it needs a string.

Great explanation, I want to make my own strings and this info was awesome. As this vid is 2 years old now are your recommendations the same considering new products come out all the time?

Are the term Dacron and B-55 used synonymously?

This was very helpful! Ordered a string from you right away

The other reason Dacron B--55 is used is for some of the modern bows, there are some made that do not have the tip overlays mainly traditonal English longbow/shortbow or Asian/Middle Eastern style bows that do not have this but some makers of flat limb longbows do not have the tip overlays, to help especially if said very traditional flat limb bow is using the flat handle grip. Lastly, almost all the all fiberglass bows/fiberglass only limbs you should not use more then Dacron B--55 but there are some exceptions.

Perfect.. lol. Is your "FF" BCY 652 or Brownell FF+? I ask because I think 652(Orignial SK65 FF) is quieter than D97(SK75) and about the same speed.

D 97 is pretty sweet I think I need another 1, or 2, or more...

Hey Kramer, I've learned a lot from your vids and they're a great resource. When you say Fast-Flight do you mean typically Spectra 652X? If so I thought that would've been a bit stretcher than D97.

I just ordered a deerace 97 16 strand Flemish twist fast flight string for my 50# PSE shaman. I'm new to archery. Is that compatible?

thanks for this resumé
i own a Falco Lengend longbow (68" @33#) that allows only Dacron string and it"s a problem to find appropriated arrows
the arrow builders charts don't necessary say that the difference with FF is from 5 to 7# : i bought Easton Legacy 700 spine arrows with 100 gr tips and at 18 meters it's not fast at all ( i can't imagine outside at 30 or 40 meters).
it's a nice maple bow but i'm shared to buy 800 spine arrows (a little bit faster ?) or to sell it in march for the 3D saison and satisfy myself with my classic Kinetic 68" recurve (28#, foam limbs, FF string)
your advice ?

Don’t forget brace height and heavy arrows help with noisy bows!

I have 2 Vintage bows, a Browning Wasp and a Shakespeare Wonderbow X27 The Kaibab. Both are 56" amo. I should be using a B50, B55 ?

I make my own strings out of b55. Would 97 work as well for home made bows? Keep in mind that they are glass backed with powerglass.

I prefer to make my bowstrings from flax fibers.
