Something a lot of people forget is that arrows spin because of the feathering, which means that it doesn't just pierce a hole into you in the shape of whatever broadhead is used, but it drills in. Your best case scenario is that it pierces through but not all the way so you can break off the end with the broadhead and pull out the shaft when you are ready to plug the wound. If it goes all the way through, gushing wound on both sides, if it gets stuck somewhere inside then you'll only make the wound much much worse if you try to pull it out.
On a final note, the first thing you'll hear is the arrow ripping through you, the only thing that kills quieter than an arrow is an owl.
