Worked at Walters for 3 summers in highschool/college. Can't say enough about how much I love this place.

I have been there a few times and it is nice to find simple food done right and very consistently. It used to be, when I was a kid, you could get a good butcher all beef hotdog with mustard and kraut everywhere in NY but most of the old school Jewish delis are gone. Who knew it would become a specialty food.

I ate at Walter's today. First time in more than 20 years, because I don't find myself in Mamaroneck much anymore. It was as good as I remembered it.

"...because of the unique architecture of the hotdog...". Dude, it's just a split hotdog in a wrinkly bun. Take it easy.

This guys accent is blowing my mind! he sounds British one second and then out of nowhere comes a New York accent. Also, that hot dog looks amazing but I prefer Rutts Hut across the river in Jersey.

From the age of 6-12 (in the 1960s) I lived right down the street from Walter's. I don't think there were too many weeks that went by that I didn't have at least one of those great dogs. It's wonderful to see it's still there and still serving the same mouth watering dogs!

Went to Mamaroneck HS (across Palmer Ave. from Walter's), graduated 1961; almost lived on these Hot Dogs, especially when rehearsing HS theater productions in the auditorium after school.

I grew up a 4 minute walk from Watler's. Went to MHS.Will always stop for a hot dog or three when I pass through. A slice or two from Sal's too (it was still there the last time I was in town)

Nick is the only guy who could make a hotdog sound so exclusive.

Good looking dogs. My second favorite way to eat a hot dog. 1-Carolina, 2-mustard only, 3-Chicago. Not sure I'll ever make it to Mamaroneck but fun video nonetheless.
