You have to unlock the car first to open the charging port door (you can change the menu setting so the charging door is always unlocked).

Hell no. I’m currently in this same ChargePoint station and it says it’ll take me 12 hours to fully charge my car!

I’ve had a long running series of issues with the App the i4 car and charging. Main issue is that they seem to confuse each other and randomly change the settings without notice. I’ve had two BMW software updates (April and Nov) but no improvement. I’ve now deleted the app but even that doesn’t completely stop the car changing settings!!!
