As for Tomorrowland, stay positive. A lot of these new announcements were years in the planning. I'll bet they're drafting big plans for Tomorrowland but it's just not time to announce what it is yet. I'll hold my breath for the 75th year.

My first D23 update video! First, your dress Katie, SO cute!! The Walt Disney Experience....I sincerely hope his speech is absolutely part of it. If they don't do that they've missed the mark on that for sure. If they can I hope they can use Walt's original voice, from clips about the building of Disneyland, to showcase the building of Disneyland, maybe clips in the background on a screen and then followed at the end by the opening speech. For sure this is where all my future trips will start...almost like being there on opening day. It's brilliant and for sure my favorite thing announced!

I appreciate the way you are both just honest about it. Tired of videos saying everything is just great all the time. You guys are real. I don’t get the bayou thing. What the heck is Winnie the Pooh doing there? And yes they need to get it together with tomorrow land. They broke it so they need to fix it already. It’s been a mess for too long. Then they put that lounge in the middle of the land that most of us can’t even get into. Nice.

I think tomorrowland will be redone as part of the new gate project with DL forward. It will also be the time hollywood land area would get redone. Love to see you using the metal straws I sent a few years back!!

Personally, I have never been to a D23 event until this year. I was able to get in Friday and Sunday because a friend could not make it. The event was a well-oiled machine with lots to do and see. Sure, every year is not going to be the same but what they had to offer was amazing. I really don't care if they don't give you everything in the bag and leave some items as a surprise. As it is most of what they announced coming to Anaheim you’re probably not going to see any time in the next 5 years.

I so agree with on tomorrowland was so bummed I was expecting Tron and people mover 2.0 and paint the night and wonderous Journeys also returning

Thanks Katie and Spencer! I thought so much more was announced for WDW than our CA park, but perhaps it's because so much has been under construction this year? I'm bummed about Tomorrowland as well- especially the People Mover which is one of my favorite rides from when I was little, but I guess they weren't "ready" yet. I think the Disney company is stretched too thin with so many parks around the world, plus movies, streaming and multiple cruise ships. I hope Spence is right and we get more announcements later. We are making a trip (from Northern CA) for the 70th, so I really hope that some of the things are in place by then.

Tomorrowland in Disneyland needs a refresh for sure. And I rather have a Villians land over Avatar but that's just me

Tomorrowland will be addressed when the Disneyland Forward plans are realized, along with the shift of the Eastern Gateway by Harbor Blvd, and the bs turnaround. …….maybe the NEXT D23 in two years. (they didn’t want to discuss blue sky).
