There are now many fascinating attractions under development. It makes complete sense to build a suspended Monsters Inc. coaster, and villains land will look amazing at Magic Kingdom, among other reasons.

Jack, you’re a real one for staying up all night and creating and uploading this by this morning. 👏🏻👏🏻

Yet again, Universal started a whole new race in theme park experiences in the US. Hopefully, both Disney and Universal keep this going for the coming decade, and so. Win win for the guest, other than these upped prices 😂.

The Hong Kong Spider-Man is very much Tower of Terror. The seating arrangement in the ride vehicle
matches up perfectly, and the white plate in front is clearly the sliding door guests enter the vehicle through. I’m actually shocked they’re still using this ride system but I’m happy to see it implemented.

10:25 Coco artwork looks like the Epcot Mexico Pavilion artwork they were using for the old rumored Three amigos boatride conversion, even has the stage with the 3 characters!

Villains and monsters Inc coaster will be the two best additions!

That concept art looks like a coaster made of thorns and Maleficent actively breathing fire 😱

It's Tough to be a Bug is brilliant in so many ways. Being a film, they could have simply introduced new insects every so often.

I really like how all of the announcements were large-scale attractions that are NOT clones in any way. They could have easily done that for Indy, Cars, Avatar, and Marvel, but they didn't. Now we get to see what else they can do with those franchises while still giving each park more own unique draws.

My 11 y/o son was watching this with me and when you asked what are you most looking forward to he said, "Epic Universe." LOL!

I'm actually excited for the little Carsland they're planning to build in Magic Kingdom. I think I would have liked Moana more, but Cars looks nice and it is a popular IP and a fun one for kids. It is exciting that they're building two new Marvel rides at DCA. I think that was a big surprise; people were only expecting one. One thing that Disney in CA really has over WDW is the number of attractions per park. Then today they announced 4 new attractions for DCA, and they're only replacing maybe one ride (Monster's Inc.) to build all those new rides. So they're really increasing their capacity, and 3 of the 4 rides look like they'll have pretty good capacity. That arm ride seems a little odd; I hope it isn't a technical nightmare that doesn't last. If they replace Star Tours with Monster's Land I will be very disappointed. Studios only has 9 rides. The idea that they would close Muppets and Star Tours (two good capacity attractions) with a rollercoaster (less capacity) is crazy. I really hope they build this in the animation courtyard or somewhere where they don't have to remove rides or high capacity shows.

I want to be hyped for Villains Land, but I feel like they announced it in response to Dark Universe getting a lot of attention

The whole sequence before and including the announcement of villains land was so hype

I remember rumors of a villains land 20 years ago when I was a little teenage gremlin on the Micechat/WDWMagic forums. It's crazy to see it finally not only acknowledged by the company but actually greenlit. I thought it was going to be my Winds of Winter.

I’m not convinced yet.
1. Their stock has dropped a lot so this is their chance to boost investment.
2. They need to compete with universal but it seems that universal can complete a park in a few years but Disney can’t get a ride built in less than 5.
3. Their execution changes from concept a lot lately with flakey executive decisions to cut budgets.

I’m hopefully but they have a bad track record lately. At the same time they need to take great care because some of these project are large and park shaping decisions. They can’t have systemic issues, confusing or rushed stories, breaking animatronics, etc.

Jack, thanks for your hard work. You are the first video out that is not a live stream regarding d23 🎉

For every laugh there should be a tear.
For every thrill there should be a chill.
I hope this new villain's land will have a coaster AND a calm attraction (ride or show).
