Windows 10 should be compared with GNOME or KDE desktop environment of Linux. By the way, Linux will still win.

Bro i was facing same problem on windows10 but when i heard that linux os uses low ram so i switched on it. SO i installed Ubuntu. The ram usage on windows was about 1.9gb out of 4 gb when nothing running on background, and the ram usage on Ubuntu is now 1.4 gb of 4 gb in same condition . I thought that maximum 1gb of ram will be used but it uses more than 1 gb. How do i fix this?
