I was bullied by atheists and Christians alike. Nobody has a monopoly on sin.

Crazy. Homie was straight up. Said he wasn’t a good guy in high school. Owned it and said his faith changed him. That other person is going to hold on to that grudge the rest of their life.

Story time: I was working at a coffee shop and a guy who was kinda a jerk to me in school showed up. He said he was a pastor now and wanted to invite me to his younge adult bible sgudy. I wasn't busy that day so I said sure and he offered to give me a ride.
Fast forward to the day, he called and said he could give me a ride but asked if I remember a guy named Jared. Insert flashback of a guy who viciously mocked me and made fun of me in school. He even use to insult God to hurt me.
Well, apparently Jared was going to pick me up. I was very nervous and I was getting ready for a quite and akward ride. I did not want to do this. I knew "christians" who would be vile and disgusting as soon as they left church and i was expecting just that
He picks me up and I soon as I get in the seat, he turns to face me and gives me the most heartfelt apology I have ever received. This man turned his life completly around and is now one of the strongest Christians I know. This man became an true inspiration to me. He was a horrid bully but Christ turned him into an amazing friend.
Don't hold your grudges. Some people are hurting so they hurt others. They too can find christ and have their lives transformed. But they aren't the only ones who need to grow from that occasion. Us bully victims need to learn to forgive and love despite what has happened, else we will become what we hate

Holding someone accountable for their past has it's merits but to deny someone the opportunity to become a better person is worse. To deny change, to enslave oneself to their past mistakes would strip you of any meaning in life to become better

An Apology is vital... That is whats needed here, a simple sorry. If u agree you were a terrible person to a human that did nothing to you. Say sorry first. Thats what Jesus expects, period.
