I have had chocolate from European and I can say that kisses don't taste like "sick" compared but we do have some cheaper off brand chocolate that tastes like surgar with brown food coloring.

im American and i agree. but of all the chocolate why give them hershey’s? that is probably the worst chocolate on our shelves😭

I am American. We do have good chocolates. It’s definitely not anything that Hershey makes for sure especially kisses.

Hershey recipe calls for sour milk, which this is what was used originally to keep cost down. Thus the “sick” taste. Agreed, nasty crap chocolate 🍫

All chocolate companies seem to replacing ingredients with what can only be described as oil. Since inflation began to occur after covid all chocolate has been slimmed down in every way.

Hershey's has, and always WILL, taste vaguely of vomit and I've never understood how anyone would consume it willingly for pleasure. It's the butyric acid that comes from the milk they use which is why it's ALSO familiar if you've ever been unfortunate enough to accidentally drink sour milk that's gone off.

Fully understanding there's a world shortage on chocolate, it's always kinda pissed me off how much of it is wasted on Hershey's products lol. Hershey's Kisses and generic Hershey's chocolate bars are the only chocolate/candy I know that taste STALE when fresh🤢

I would sooner eat a stick of sidewalk chalk dipped in nutella then eat a single Hershey's Kiss. There's a reason they look like little foil wrapped turds > . <

As an american i can say the british absoLUTELY have much better chocolate!! My mom turned me onto Cadbury a while ago and its so so much better!! Esp Carmello, that's my fave :)
