I once complained to Cadbury because I used my pocket money to buy a curlywurly and got half a curlywurly. I got a lovely letter back, apologising and saying one of their machines had got a bit peckish (someone at Cadbury’s actually took the time to draw the machine being peckish and chomping the chocolate) The letter had a 50p coin sellotaped to it (on a curlywurly scale at the time, that was abound 2 curleys). This was very much pre Twitter etc so it was just a nice gesture. It certainly cheered up a little kid!

The Flake is often served with soft serve ice cream cones (stuck into the ice cream) as a "99 " - catches a lot of the crumbly chocolate, kids have love this for years
