We asked our Mexican mamás to taste and try different candy from the UK! The United Kingdom is a country that consists of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The name Great Britain refers to the island on which most of the non-sovereign countries of England, Scotland, and Wales are situated. The Mexican moms tried all sorts of candy like Jelly Babies, Smarties, Winegums, Maltesers, Mars Bar, Fruit Salad, Fry's Turkish Delight, Terry's Chocolate orange! As a British person, American candy must be sweet because all of these are so sweet to me 😩

In the UK we have very strict food laws. We don't use artificial colours or flavours that's why they don't taste as sweet as US Candies

A lot of US candies use corn syrup instead of sugar, which is why you get really sweet candy in the US. This is why you don't find UK candy as "sweet"

In case anyone doesn’t know: we have to smash the Terry’s Chocolate orange as you CANNOT get into it otherwise. It is a block of chocolate.

Ahhh I’m so gutted they didn’t try tea cakes! For anyone who would like to know a tea cake is a cookie with marshmallow fluff on top covered with milk chocolate it is so good!! 🙈🙈

Maltesers are sooo good! I was fortunate to try some. They're wayyy better than Whoppers (as so is most British 🍫 in comparison to US 🍫).
